The 2005 release of Migration study document is a good overview of the state of art of DATEX II objectives and results. It also contains the first guidelines on migration from DATEX to DATEX II systems and networks.

This study will be completed in the next year based on demonstrator achievements.

This User Guide is mainly targeted towards non software personnel who wish to understand what DATEX II is.
It represents an introduction and a help to understand other DATEX II documents.
This document should also be of use to software developers as a reference document.
