Description
Extensions can be uploaded to the datex2.eu website and proposed for standardisation as well as exposed to the wider user community. They have a a name and a lifecycle, which is captured in the PIM - tagged values extensionName and extensionVersion in class D2LogicalModel - and also can be found in the schema as XML attributes on the complex type generated from that class.
The same structure should be used and implemented for profiles, i.e. profiles should be named and versioned and tags and correpsonding XML attributes (profileName and profileVersion) with similar functionality should be provided.

The feature is clearly defined and the request is appreciated. Since it is not backwards compatible to v2.0, it will be addressed in the next major release v3.0.

Corresponding properties ("profileName", "profileVersion") have been added to the "D2ModelRoot" stereotype in the UML profile of DATEX II v3.0.
